Using your SiteSuite website tools to manage product descriptions

Each product in your online store can have a Short Description and a Long Description. Use the Long Description to provide more information about each product, giving customers the confidence — and the incentive — to go ahead with a purchase. Remember that using your SiteSuite tools, you can add cross-selling links to each product to alert customers to other products in your store that may interest them.

85% of Internet users shop online

85% of people around the world who use the Internet have made online purchases, according to Nielsen Online's latest survey. In just two years, the number of people buying online has increased by 40% to 875 million. Clothes and shoes are the fastest growing product categories for online sales.

Planning the set up of your online shop pays dividends. The Nielsen report reveals that shoppers go back to sites they're familiar with, with 60% making most of their purchases from the same site.
